we’re going to draw something super cool – a well!
Grab your pencils, paper, and colors, and let’s start drawing together!
✏️ Step 1 – Draw the Ground
First, let’s draw the ground where the well stands.
Take your pencil and draw a curved line near the bottom of your paper.
Great job! This will be the ground.
✏️ Step 2 – Draw the Well Opening
Now, right above the ground, let’s draw an oval shape.
It looks like a laying egg or a squished circle.
This is the mouth of the well.
✏️ Step 3 – Draw the Walls
From the left and right sides of the oval, draw two straight lines going down to the ground.
Then, connect them with another curved line at the bottom.
Perfect! Now we have the body of our well.
✏️ Step 4 – Add Bricks
Time to make it look like it’s made of bricks!
Draw a few horizontal lines across the wall.
Next, draw short vertical lines between them to create little bricks.
Doesn’t that look nice?
✏️ Step 5 – Draw the Roof Supports
Let’s draw the poles that hold the roof.
From the sides of the oval, draw two tall lines going up.
These will hold the roof.
✏️ Step 6 – Draw the Roof
Now, connect the tops of the poles with a slanted line, like the top of a triangle.
Draw another slanted line right under it, to make the roof look thick.
Finish the triangle shape by adding the other sides.
Wow! The roof is done!
✏️ Step 7 – Add the Bucket and Rope
Let’s draw the bucket.
Right under the roof, draw a small rectangle or circle.
This is the bucket that goes into the well.
Draw two lines connecting the bucket to the roof beam – these are the ropes.
If you want, you can even draw a smiley face on the bucket!
✏️ Step 8 – Add Details
Time to make it special!
Draw a handle or crank on one side of the pole.
You can add stones or grass around the bottom to make it look real.
Be creative and have fun!
🖍️ Step 9 – Outline and Color
Now, use a black marker to trace all your lines.
Erase any pencil marks you don’t need.
Then, color your well!
You can color the bricks brown or gray, the roof red, the grass green, and the bucket any color you like.
